The way I work
I work in an integrative way and incorporate the Person-Centred approach, along with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA) and the Psychodynamic approach. I aim to develop a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, where we can explore how things are for you. We move at your pace, working through what you choose to discuss at each session. This way of working can be enlightening and hugely powerful.
I have a wide variety of experience including volunteering at a mental health charity, and have experience of working with clients who face many different challenges, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Bereavement
- Relationship issues
- Confidence issues
- Adoption
- Work-related stress
- Trauma
I also have experience of helping individuals who have an acquired brain injury, and assisting in their cognitive rehabilitation.
